Swimming

I've been swimming a lot lately, which translates to tan lines. Yes, I actually tan. Believe it or not, the darkest part of my arm is now the same as the lightest part of Andrew's arm. I will try to post a picture for reference.

Colleen and I grew up eating on these plates. Unfortunately we probably broke them all over the years. Michelle and Dan still have some at their house--brings back childhood memories.

Giant ampalaya. This one was grown from seeds that came all the way from the Philippines.

San Pedro Docks

Woke up early to buy seafood at the docks in San Pedro. Haven't gotten out of bed at 330 in a long time. Check out the king crabs on the bottom and the rock crabs at the top.

24th Birthday

Celebrated my birthday by pulling an all-nighter for physiology exam tomorrow. Except that I'm too old to pull all-nighters now so I will wake up early tomorrow to study. Woo hoo.

Okay. I'm just going to say it. I actually enjoy school now. This semester I'm taking human physiology, nutrition, public speaking, and statistics. I haven't missed a class yet, which is a record for me, since graduating from high school. I'm officially studious again.
